Snow Removal
Drives and walks cleared through the winter, with ice treatment where the surface needs it, so coming and going stays simple during a storm.
Snow Removal
Snow service is about dependable access to your home all winter. On a seasonal route, we clear driveways and main walks once snowfall reaches an agreed depth, place the snow where it will not block views or melt back across the drive, and return during long storms as needed. Seasonal clients are placed on the route before winter begins, which is how each property receives proper care when the snow arrives.
- Driveways cleared as close to the pavement as conditions allow
- Main walks and entry paths cleared
- Snow placed in agreed areas that keep views and drainage clear
- The ridge left by the street plow cleared from the end of the drive
- Return visits during long or heavy storms
- A note if icy conditions call for treatment
- A pre-season walk-through of access, obstacles, and snow placement
How much snow before you come out?
We agree on a trigger depth when you sign on, commonly around two inches for a residential drive. Light snow that keeps building through the day can still call for a visit once it reaches that depth.
How soon after the snow stops?
We work through and after each storm. During long storms we may make more than one pass rather than waiting for the snow to end. Arrival times depend on the storm and the route, and we'll keep you informed.
Can I call only when it snows heavily?
Unfortunately, that rarely works. Crews and equipment are committed to seasonal clients before winter starts, and there is seldom room on the route during a storm. Signing on before the season reserves your place.
Where do you put the snow?
In areas agreed on before the season, where it will not bury walks, block the mailbox, or melt back across the drive. On tighter lots, we'll plan the available space with you before the first storm.
