MG Landscape
Regular, well-timed mowing is what keeps a lawn even, dense, and healthy. We cut at a height suited to the season and the grass, edge every walk, drive, and bed line, and blow all hard surfaces clean before we leave. Visit frequency follows the lawn's growth, which keeps it tidy through early summer without over-cutting it as the season slows.
A weekly visit through the main growing season, easing to every other week in early spring and late fall.
On site: Typically 30 to 60 minutes for an average suburban lot. Larger or more detailed properties take longer.
What The Visit Includes
- Mowing at the right height for the season
- Crisp edges along walks, drives, and bed borders
- Trimming around fences, posts, trees, and tight corners
- Walks, steps, and patios blown clean
- Clippings mulched back into the lawn, or bagged when growth is heavy
- Mowing direction varied each visit to avoid ruts and wheel lines
- Gate codes and property notes kept on file
How We Handle The Details
- Mower blades are sharpened regularly, so the grass is cut cleanly rather than torn.
- Mowing height is adjusted on slopes and around raised beds to avoid scalping.
- Hoses, toys, and low branches are moved or worked around with care.
- Clippings are kept off foundations, beds, and drainage paths.
Questions Before You Book
How often will you come?
Weekly through the main growing season, then every other week as growth slows. If weather shifts the schedule, we let you know before the visit.
Do I need to be home?
No. With your gate code and a note about any pets, we can complete the visit on our own. If something blocks the lawn, such as a locked gate or a car on the grass, we'll send you a message.
What happens if it rains on my service day?
We let the lawn dry and return on the next workable day. Mowing wet grass tears the blades and leaves ruts, so a short delay is better for the lawn.
Do you bag the clippings?
We usually mulch them back into the lawn, where they break down quickly and return nutrients to the soil. When growth is heavy enough to clump, or if you prefer, we bag them and haul them away.
