About Oak Brook

Oak Brook carries the gracious scale of the estates it grew from. Salt Creek winds through the village past Fullersburg Woods and the Graue Mill, an 1852 gristmill whose waterwheel still turns, the only one of its kind operating in Illinois.

On the west side of the village, the Mayslake Peabody Estate rises above its forest preserve, a Tudor Revival mansion completed in the early 1920s amid woods and meadows open to the public. Near the creek, the forty-acre Dean Nature Sanctuary keeps oak savanna, prairie, and a quiet pond in their natural state, and on summer Sundays polo returns to the club Paul Butler founded in 1922.

Formal lawns, long finished drives, and crisp edges remain part of the village's character. Our work here is residential, with a finish that belongs beside some of the most carefully kept grounds in the western suburbs.

How We Care For Homes In Oak Brook

Questions From Oak Brook

The village is Oak Brook. Why does the site also say Oakbrook?

Because neighbors search for it both ways. This page is for the Village of Oak Brook, and the care is the same under either spelling.

Will power washing be gentle on pavers or brick?

Yes. Pressure and nozzle are matched to the surface, so grime lifts away without etching the brick or disturbing the joint sand.

How often should a formal lawn be cut?

Weekly through the main growing months, which is the rhythm most formal fronts prefer. A consistent edge is what the street notices most.
